Well round 2 of P90X is almost over and to tell the truth, as far as looks go, I’m in worse shape then I was before I started the second round. This is 100% my fault and 100% because of bad nutrition choices. I’m glad that round 2 is nearly over because I’ve promised myself that during round 3 I’m going to stick to a good nutritional diet and I’m going to get the results that I should have gotten in the second round. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve made huge improvements in every area except for ‘looks’. I’m lifting heavier with more reps and I’m able to do much more cardio without being winded then I ever have before. Also I’ve surpased a lot of physical goals during this second round as well. I’m up to 71 consecutive push-ups without rest (100 is my goal). I was only able to do 50 after the first round so that’s pretty good if you ask me.
Today I did a double workout. First I completed Back and Biceps and Ab Ripper X from P90X. Both workouts were good but back and biceps was the stand out workout. I used heavier weights for a bunch of the moves and I felt really great throughout the entire workout. After I finished the ab ripper, I completed the Plyo Cardio Circut from Insanity. I was pretty tired but I pushed through to the very end so I’m sure I burned off a bunch of extra calories during that workout. Tomorrow I’m going to be doing an Insanity Max workout for the first time so that should be interesting!

I just wanted to add a quick post to let everyone know that I’m still around. I haven’t been posting every day like I used to but I have been working out hard. I’ve had some tough times in life reciently and just haven’t had the motivation to blog every day. I will probably start blogging weekly rather then daily, at least for a while. Theres only a couple more weeks left until I finish up round 2 of P90X and then I’m going to be starting round 3 right away. Keep checking back for new pic updates!

I did Legs and Back today for the first time in a month or so. I had a really good workout. One of the best leg and back workouts ever I think. I was able to do 15 reps on all the pull up exercises the whole way through the routine. I also did ab ripper x today and that was really good also. Once again I killed the Fiffer Scissors.

Well it’s day 60 of the second round of P90X and there are good and bad things happening. The good is all because of the program and the bad all fall on my shoulders. First, the bad. I have gained 5 lbs and 1% bodyfat since day 30. This is 100% my fault as I have been eating Very badly the past month or so. I’m going to reign that in now and eat clean for the next 30 days. The good is that I’ve been working out really hard lately and I’m still making incredible gains, even though my eating has been so bad. I’m much stronger now then I was at day 30, and my cardiovascular is much better now then it was a month ago. This just goes to show that even though you are doing great workouts and making huge gains in strength and endurance, your nutrition is such an important part of the fitness puzzle. Be sure to check back on day 90 because I’m promising great results! Day 60 pics are posted at the bottom of the homepage.
