Well round 2 of P90X is almost over and to tell the truth, as far as looks go, I’m in worse shape then I was before I started the second round. This is 100% my fault and 100% because of bad nutrition choices. I’m glad that round 2 is nearly over because I’ve promised myself that during round 3 I’m going to stick to a good nutritional diet and I’m going to get the results that I should have gotten in the second round. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve made huge improvements in every area except for ‘looks’. I’m lifting heavier with more reps and I’m able to do much more cardio without being winded then I ever have before. Also I’ve surpased a lot of physical goals during this second round as well. I’m up to 71 consecutive push-ups without rest (100 is my goal). I was only able to do 50 after the first round so that’s pretty good if you ask me.
Today I did a double workout. First I completed Back and Biceps and Ab Ripper X from P90X. Both workouts were good but back and biceps was the stand out workout. I used heavier weights for a bunch of the moves and I felt really great throughout the entire workout. After I finished the ab ripper, I completed the Plyo Cardio Circut from Insanity. I was pretty tired but I pushed through to the very end so I’m sure I burned off a bunch of extra calories during that workout. Tomorrow I’m going to be doing an Insanity Max workout for the first time so that should be interesting!

I haven’t been posting for the past few days, but I’m still here! Today I did a really hard workout. I would say it is within the top 5 workouts that I’ve ever done in my life. First I started by doing a very intense Chest and Back workout. I pushed really hard and upped my reps on almost all the moves. I also did an intense Back and Bicep workout as well. I followed those up with the Insanity workout Cardio Abs and then I completed Ab Ripper X! I did every workout at 100% and it was just amazing!

Yet another awesome workout today! We did Back and Biceps along with Cardio Abs from Insanity. Both the workouts were great. I’m so glad that I decided to do this hybrid workout because I’m really enjoying it a lot. I’m looking forward to the workouts more now and I feel that I’m getting more out of them as well. If you’ve done P90X once or twice before and are looking for something a little different, I think that a P90X Insanity hybrid is the way to go.

Todays back and bicep workout went pretty good. I did about the same amount of weight and reps on most of the exercises that I did last week. I was able to raise the weight on a few of the moves as well which is always nice to be able to do. Ab ripper x went well again this time also.

Todays workout was Back and Biceps and it was great. It really works you hard and leaves you feeling really good afterwards. Today was Bransens first time doing the workout and he got a great workout from it. Ab ripper x went well for everyone today too.

I started off this mornings doubles by doing cardio x. It was a pretty good workout. The yoga portion actually felt a little hard but it goes by fast. Overall I had a great cardio workout this morning. Then this afternoon we did back and biceps. We did it without using the dvd this time, only the worksheets. It worked out really well. My arms are so pumped up right now. Ab ripper x went well also. I’m still adding in the extra hanging moves from the plus series but I wasn’t able to do quite as many today because instead of incorporating them throughout the ab ripper x routine like normal I tried to do them all in a row at the end and that made it too hard for me. Anyways, overall today was a top notch workout day.

Todays workouts were really good. The best I’ve had in a while actually. I started out with the doubles cardio workout this morning and that had me sweating start to finish. Then this evening I did back and biceps followed up with ab ripper x. Although I didn’t raise my weight or reps this week, I felt like it was a really good workout and I got an amazing pump from it. I also had a really good ab ripper x session as well. I’m getting a little better at the Fifer Scisors. Well… sort of…

Today was the last back and bicep routine of the first 90 days of P90X. I thought it was an amazing workout. I pushed as hard as I could and I feel that I did very well. I was able to crank out 20 wide front pull ups for the first time ever! I also was able to up the weight or reps on most of the exercises. This mornings cardio went pretty good to. What a great day. P90X really does rock!

This mornings cardio went very well. I reall enjoyed it and it seemed to go by very quickly. The back and bicep workout went pretty good too. I did about the same amount of weight and reps as last time, although I was able to raise the weight slightly on some of the exercises. Overall I’m happy with the workout. Ab ripper x went fairly well also. It seemed a little harder today then usual, and of course I still had the most trouble with the Fifer Scissors move. So, overall, todays workouts went quite well. My downfall was After the workouts, when I ate about 3 or so servings of whole wheat pasta! Oy Vey!

Today was back and biceps, but perhaps more importantly, today marks the half way point in the first round of P90X! The workout was amazing. I was able to up my weight and or reps on most of the moves. In addition, I was also able to reach one of my goals by performing 10 wide grip pull ups for the first time! Amazingly enough, at exactly the half way point of the program I’ve now reached half of my goals! Of course today was also a doubles cardio day as well as an ab ripper x day, and both of those routines went great as well. Today may very well have been the best day of P90X for me yet! And to think we’re only half way to day 90!

I really love doing the back and bicep workout. It works my arms hard and I love the pump I get afterwards. My lower back is a little sore but I think it’s just because I worked it hard today. Ab ripper X and this mornings cardio both went great as well. Today my wife told me that I’m in the best shape she’s ever seen me in. I love P90X!

Today was the first time doing back and biceps. I really enjoyed this workout. I feel like I did very well overall, although I wasn’t able to do as many pull-ups as I would have liked, especially towards the end of the workout. It seemed to go by very quickly as well which is always good. Today also marked the second doubles day. I’m enjoying doing the extra cardio and I think it will end up making a big difference in the long run.
