P90X Round 3 Day 3 – Where I’m at with Shoulders and Arms workout

I thought that I would let everyone know where I’m at since I’m starting a new round. Keep in mind that I’m also doing Cardio X every morning as well as the daily P90X and Insanity workouts. Here are my day 3 shoulders and arms results.

P90X Round 2 Day 3 – Shoulders and Arms

Todays workout was Shoulders and Arms. I did fairly well considering it’s been a few weeks away in Hawaii without working out. I actually was able to lift a fair amount of weight so I’m pretty happy about todays workout. My left arm and shoulder are still a little sore from the day 1 Chest and Back workout but I managed to work through the soreness. Bransen did well on his first shoulders and arms workout also. He decided to use lighter weights and focus on his form since he’s still pretty sore from days 1 and 2. He did better then I expected though. Ab ripper X went well for all 3 of us. I’m still at the stage where I can really feel my abs burning, even when sitting up in bed and doing normal daily activities. It’s a great feeling!

P90X Day 3 – Shoulders and Arms

Today was day 3, shoulders and arms. I thought that this workout was great. I’m going for mass so I tried to get 8 to 10 reps on everything, except for the moves where everyone is supposed to do 16. Since I was using pretty heavy weights, I did fall a little short of the 16 a couple times but I think that’s probably ok. Ab ripper X was good as usual. One tip for people just starting out doing ab ripper x. If you take off your shoes, you can do more reps!
