Today was a day of “Lasts” as far as the first 90 days of P90X goes. Today was the last legs and back day, the last day of doubles, and the last day of ab ripper x. As far as the workouts go, the cardio was the best for me. Legs and back went ok. I still don’t really enjoy the workout very much. Ab ripper x was about average. I’m looking forward to the upcoming recovery week.

Today was another amazing workout day. Starting with this mornings incredible cardio workout all the way through to the end of Yoga X. I didn’t think coming into the yoga session that it was going to be very good because my arms were still pretty sore from yesterdays workout, and I was tired as well. But I suprised myself and had a really great yoga session. And I feel better now then before I started.

Today was the last back and bicep routine of the first 90 days of P90X. I thought it was an amazing workout. I pushed as hard as I could and I feel that I did very well. I was able to crank out 20 wide front pull ups for the first time ever! I also was able to up the weight or reps on most of the exercises. This mornings cardio went pretty good to. What a great day. P90X really does rock!

I woke up early this morning and did the cardio x portion of todays workout, then just an hour later I did the chest shoulders triceps and ab ripper x. All of the workouts went very well. I was even able to get through the entire Fifer Scissors without rest for only the second time. I can’t believe that we’re in week 12 already. I’ll probably post my chest shoulder and tricep week 1 verses week 12 numbers sometime later in the week.

Today was legs and back again. It really is one of my least favorite workouts. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s at the end of the week or what but I never seem motivated to do it. I did do it though and it was an avarage workout. Ab ripper x was fairly average as well (which isn’t a bad thing). The cardio this morning was pretty good. I enjoy doing cardio in the morning so it works out well for me.

Today I feel very relaxed after finishing yoga. Yoga seemed to be a little bit easier this time around. Still, even on day 74, I still have a very long way to go as far as yoga is conserned. I have lots to improve upon as far as my flexablity, although I must admit that I can tell I’m more flexable now then before starting P90X. Today was also a doubles cardio day for me and that workout went very well. I was really sweating by the end and I felt like I burned a whole bunch of calories.

All of todays workouts (shoulders and arms, ab ripper x and cardio) went very well today. During shoulders and arms I was able to up the weight on most of the exercises. Once again compareing todays workout with the week 1 numbers, the difference is just totally amazing to me. I can only hope that I do just as well tomorrow with yoga!

Today was the final chest and back workout of the first 90 days of P90X and I had the best workout I’ve ever had. I’m feeling so good right now. I pushed 100 percent on every exercise like always and it really pays off. I was able to increase my reps on pretty much every single exercise again this week. When I compare my week 1 results to todays results the differences just amaze me. It’s so crazy how far along I’ve come in just over 2 months time. Ab ripper x went well also. I could really feel my abs working hard after the couple days of rest that they had over the weekend. Today was also a doubles day and this mornings cardio x was a really great workout as well. At this point I just have one word to describe P90X. Incredible!

Another doubles workout day today. Cardio this morning which went really well, then tonight was legs and back and ab ripper x. Legs and back went pretty good. It’s still one of my least favorite workouts. I didn’t do too bad on it though. Ab ripper x went fairly well also. I’m looking forward to giving my abs a rest over the weekend.

Today was another doubles day. I did very well with the cardio this morning. It was one of the best morning workouts I’ve ever had. I really think I burned a ton of calories doing it and I was sweating a ton by the end. Todays regular workout was yoga. We just finished and I feel pretty good, but we only did an abbriviated version of the yoga, not the entire thing. We did from the start all the way through the reverse warrior moves, then we fast forwarded through to the balance poses and finished the routine starting with tree. I found that I did a lot better with the balance postures when I wasn’t so tired from doing the full first half of the dvd. Anyways, I feel that the days workouts overall were pretty good, even though we didn’t do 100% of the yoga portion.

This mornings cardio went very well. I reall enjoyed it and it seemed to go by very quickly. The back and bicep workout went pretty good too. I did about the same amount of weight and reps as last time, although I was able to raise the weight slightly on some of the exercises. Overall I’m happy with the workout. Ab ripper x went fairly well also. It seemed a little harder today then usual, and of course I still had the most trouble with the Fifer Scissors move. So, overall, todays workouts went quite well. My downfall was After the workouts, when I ate about 3 or so servings of whole wheat pasta! Oy Vey!

Todays workout was chest shoulders and triceps. I would say it was an average workout for me. I did good but not great. I was able to raise the weight/reps a little on some of the exercise, but I also lost some reps on some other moves as well. The cardio x this morning was also just average. I was sweating pretty good by the end but I didn’t feel that I did as good as I should have. Todays ab ripper x however seemed to go very well. As my stomach is shrinking, I’m able to feel more and more burn in my abs as I complete the ab ripper and it feels really good. There’s only one more time to improve on the chest shoulder and triceps routine in the first 90 days so I’m really going to have to pick it up and push hard next time.

Todays leg and back workout went fairly well. As good as normal I would say. I did pretty good all around, even though this is one of my least favorite workouts of the program. The doubles cardio went ok this morning as well.

Today was yoga and it went SOOO much better then last time. In fact, I think that it was my best yoga session yet. I must have just had a bad day last week or something. It was also a doubles day for me because I’m doing doubles on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. The cardio session this morning went really well. I’m so excited about these last 30 days!

More big improvements on todays shoulders and arms workout. I was able to up the weights on just about everything. Afterwards I was feeling really great. Exhausted but great. Cardio went well this morning and ab ripper x went fairly well also. I’m loving phase 3 so far. We’ll see how I’m able to do with yoga tomorrow. I’m not really looking forward to that but hopefully it will be ok.

Todays workout was amazing. I still love doing chest and back. I was able to up the reps on pretty much every exercise from last time. The workout just feels good! Today was also cardio x and ab ripper x days as well and both of those workouts were great too. What a nice start to phase 3! I have a feeling that these last 30 or so days of round 1 are going to be amazing.

I just finished the second core synergistics routine for this week. I did better today then the last time. I feel like it was a pretty good workout. Unfortunatly my wife decided she didn’t want to do it again (if you remember from the last recovery week I posted that she absolutly hates this workout). She’s going to be trading out todays core workout for the Jillian Michaels Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism workout. Which if you haven’t seen it yet you should check it out. It is very much like a P90X workout. I’m going to be doing it along with my wife so today will be a doubles day for me. So much for the recovery week
UPDATE – We just finished the Jillian Michaels Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism workout and let me tell you, it was no joke. That workout made me sweat as much as any of the P90X workouts. It’s a good supplemental workout for any P90Xer in my opinion.
