P90X Round 2 Day 41 – Kenpo X

Today’s Kenpo workout was one of the best yet. It went really well. I did feel that it wasn’t quite the workout that it used to be intensity wise, but hey, I’ve done a couple Insanity workouts now so what do you expect? Anyways, like I said, the workout was really good. I enjoyed it a lot, and I was still wanting more when it ended. This is probably the last time I’ll be doing kenpo for a while since I’m going to be starting the P90X Insanity hybrid routines on Monday and I have kenpo x only during the recovery week. I’m glad the last one for a while went so well!

P90X Round 2 Day 24 – Kicking some butt

Todays recovery week workout was Kenpo X. We had a really great workout. By the end we were covered in sweat and feeling great. This one always makes me feel good by the end. I just wish the warm up was more traditional. I just don’t like doing the kenpo warmup for some reason!

P90X Round 2 Day 14 – Kenpo X

Yesterday was supposed to be kenpo and today a rest day but because we were too busy yesterday to get our workout in, we ended up taking yesterday as our rest day and did the kenpo routine today. The workout was pretty average but at least we got it done.

P90X Round 2 Day 6 – Kenpo X

Today Bransen, Napua and I all did Kenpo X together. It was a pretty good workout. I tried to go all out the entire workout and felt pretty good at the end. I still really enjoy the kenpo workout. Bransen was dead by the end but I’m sure he’ll get better and learn to love it!

P90X Day 118 – Worked out hard today!

Since we were out of town yesterday, we did legs and back and ab ripper x today. It was a really good workout. It was a little hard becuase we did it kinda early in the day but it was a good workout. I was able to raise my pull-up reps on every set so that was really good. Directly after doing the legs and back and ab ripper x routines, I did todays scheduled workout which was kenpo x. That was also a very good workout as well. So we worked out hard today. I’m very satisfied with todays progress.

P90X Day 111 – Kenpo X plus Cardio X

Todays workout was Kenpo X. I got up early this morning and did the kenpo workout first thing. My wife woke up before I had finished the workout and she wanted to do Cardio X today so immediately after finishing kenpo I completed the cardio x dvd also. So I got lots of good cardio in this morning and felt great all day.

P90X Day 104 – Kenpo

Todays workout was kenpo x. It went really well. I’ve said it before but the only thing that I really dislike about the kenpo workout is the warm up. But, after the warmup was done and the workout started, it went really well. I really messed up my diet today though! We went out to Golden Corral and I ate so so much! And I ate all bad stuff too. I think I probably ate around 2000 calories in just that one meal! I’m not too worried about it though because it was in celebration of both Fathers day and our annaversary. Plus I think I’m allowed a cheat day once in a while with all these doubles workouts that I’m doing. :)

P90X Day 97 – Kenpo X

Today my allergies have been acting up, my body is sore, I have a sore throat and I’m feeling a little bit under the weather. Kenpo started out slow and I was having a tough time with it, especially because I couldn’t breathe very well. But, I stuck with it and it got better and better. It ended up being a pretty good workout and I’m happy with the acomplishment. Hopefully I’ll be feeling 100% again by monday!

P90X Day 87 – He Only Bleeds On The Inside

Todays recovery week workout was Kenpo X. I still really like the workout. In fact I like it more now then when I started. The cool thing about the kenpo workout is that I get a good cardio workout with lots of sweat but at the same time its pretty fun to do. I think it’s funny to watch Wesley in the background. He does all the moves properly and if you compare him to everyone else it’s really obvious that he’s the only one that Really knows what he’s doing. Luckly for me, I’m not in this to learn kenpo karate, I’m in it for the great cardio workout!

P90X Day 76 – Punching Through

Todays kenpo workout was pretty good. It still gets me working hard and sweating bullets by the end even this close to day 90. I would like to try the kenpo + dvd someday just to see what it’s like. I’m looking forward to the weekend, then it’s the very last resistance week before day 90. Crazy!

P90X Day 69 – Great workout

I just finished up a really good kenpo workout. It was probably the best kenpo workout I’ve had to date. Lots of sweat by the end and I feel great. If you ask me, kenpo is the perfect workout to end a long week of workouts.

P90X Day 52 – Still loving kenpo

I’m still really enjoying the kenpo workout. I get a great workout from it and it seems to go by fairly quickly. I’m always covered in sweat by the end. The warm up wasn’t as bad as usual today either so that’s good. I’m enjoying the recovery week so far (no doubles) and I’m looking forward to the stretch tomorrow.

I still really like kenpo x. I’m not very good as far as the form goes but the workout always gets my heart rate up. The warm up is still the worst part of the whole thing for me. I’m sure by day 90 I’ll be much better.

P90X Day 34 – Kenpo X

Kenpo went well this morning. I always get a good workout from it. The warm up was a little harder then normal because my legs were still sore from the legs and back workout. Tomorrow is Easter so we will probably take a full rest day instead of doing x stretch since we are having family over for dinner after church.

P90X Day 20 – Kenpo X

Kenpo X was pretty good again today. I’m getting better at the moves and it still is a good enough workout that I’m tired out by the end. I also like having Kenpo on Saturday becuase we are able to do it in the early afternoon since we both have Saturdays off of work. I’m getting a little better at the warmup streatches as well, but they do still need some work. Same with the star blocks…
