Todays workout was Plyometrics and it was absolutly awesome! I think it may have been the best plyo workout I’ve ever had. I wanted to really push myself as hard as I could so I was going trying to do the P90X plyo routine as if it were an Insanity routine. Man, I was really feeling it by the end. It was amazing. My legs are like jello but I feel so good. Napua and Bransen did really well also. Bransen was sweating so much it was crazy!

Todays workout was Plyometrics. Napua, Bransen and I all did the workout together. It was pretty good. I was feeling it after all the bad eating that I did over the holiday weekend! I still had a pretty amazing workout. I think that we all did judging from the sweat dripping off of everyone!

Today was day 30 of my second round of P90X. For anyone who doesn’t know, we did 120 days of what we called “Round 1″ first. Then we went on vacation to Hawaii. We started on “Round 2″ Around 3 weeks or so after we finished round 1. The problem I had was that in Hawaii I went totally off my diet so I gained some weight back. Now that we’re back I’ve been pretty good with my diet again but still working on getting back to my round 1 results. It shouldn’t be much longer. And I am stronger now then I was at the end of round 1 already. I will be posting my round 2 day 30 result pictures probably tomorrow so keep an eye out for them.
UPDATE: I’ve posted my day 30 pics and weight / fat percentage information at the bottom of the page. From the looks of things, I’m about back to where I was before going on our Hawaii vacation. I’m looking forward to the progress that I’ll be making in the next 60 days.

Since this is a recovery week, today was supposed to be an X Stretch day. But since we missed last Saturdays Kenpo X workout, Bransen and I decided to do a Plyometrics workout today instead. We both had a really great workout. One of the best ever. Later on Napua did the X Stretch routine, and I decided to do the first half of it with her. I didn’t do the second half because I was making dinner at the time. I feel pretty good though from doing what I did.

The plyo workout today was amazing for all three of us. Bransen, Napua and I were all drenched with sweat after completing the plyometrics workout. This is still one of my favorite workout days, even though it’s a tough one. I’m really happy that Bransen is pushing hard too. I think he’s going to be able to get some good results if he sticks with it.

I just completed the most intense plyometrics workout ever! I was really pushing hard and I feel really good now that the workout is done. I was feeling a little light headed at about the 45 minute mark but I kept pushing and finished strong. There’s no doubt why they call this one “The Mother”.

Today was day 2 of round 2 and the workout was plyometrics. Wow! That was a hard workout. I think it was almost just as hard as when we did day 2 of round 1. I’m glad that I know that it does get easier because I was ready to quit about half way through. I didn’t quit though, I pushed through to the very end, even through the bonus round (even though I did Not feel ’sprite’). Bransen completed the plyo workout today for the first time ever and he did amazingly well. He made it to the very end. He said that he had never sweated that much in his entire life. By the end, he couldn’t even do some of the stretches, that’s how hard he worked. I’m really proud of how he is bringing it.

I decided to make today an extra doubles day since we are only 1 week away from Hawaii and I want to push as hard as I can before we go. This morning I started off with a good cardio x workout, then this evening we finished up with our scheduled plyometrics workout routine. The plyo was amazing. I was really sweating by the time it was over. Lots of calories burned today with all this cardio work. I’m feeling great and can’t wait for Hawaii!

My word of the day for today is “Jump Knee Tucks”. I want to thank who ever thought of these things. They are so great. They really help to take the plyometrics workout to the next level, not to mention I get to do a great jumping move without haveing to squat first! Another wonderful plyo workout today. I’m loving it more each and every workout. My wife really brought it today with plyo as well so that always makes me happy.

Todays workout was plyometrics. As you know, I really enjoy doing plyo because it’s hard it makes me work all the way through. Today I had a little harder time then normal but it was still a really good workout. I think it was harder for me mostly because it was so hot today. The workout itself was still amazing though. The sweat was pouring for the entire workout and I know that tons of calories were burned today. More then just burning a bunch of calories, I can tell that doing plyo has helped me with my jumping as well. I can jump higher and I have a whole lot more stamina then I did before starting p90x.

Wow, it’s hard to believe that we’ve been doing p90x for 100 days already. It really goes by so fast. During our plyo workout today (which went very well by the way), I was thinking about how far we’ve really come in the past 100 days. I can’t even put it into words. We are really completely different people (at least health wise) then we were before we started. I wonder what I’ll be thinking about on p90x day 200…

Although I can now officially say that I’m a P90X graduate, I still can not say that plyometrics is an easy workout! Todays plyo workout was really hard. I think I was sweating more after todays plyo workout then I every have before. I still love this workout, but today it seemed harder to the point where I just wanted it to end. When it finally was over, I was so happy! The past couple of workouts have been tough and I’m not sure if it’s because we’re just coming off of a recovery week or if it’s because I didn’t take a break after finishing day 90. I’m starting to think that maybe I should have taken a week off before starting again. I’m going to keep pushing forward though. Only another month or so until our Hawaii vacation and I’ll be off for two weeks then. So for now, onward and upward!

Today marked the very last plyo routine of the first 90 days of P90X. It was a great workout. I can only imagine how much improvement there has been from the first time until today. I really love this workout now. It always gets the heart rate way up and I know I’m burning tons of calories. Anyone doing P90X and switching out the plyo routine for something else is really missing out in my opinion.

Another great plyometrics workout is in the books. There were a few spots during the routine when I was having a pretty tough time but I stuck with it and got through the whole thing. Once again I’m pumped to be finished. There’s no doubt why they call plyo the mother of all the P90X workouts.

I’m really loving plyometrics. It’s fast becoming my favorite workout. The cardio just works me so hard and by the end I feel like I’ve burned so many calories it’s crazy. It’s strange how it’s getting easier but it’s not getting easier. If you’ve done plyometrics for a couple months then you know what I mean.

The more times I do plyometrics the more I love it. It’s so hard and fun all at the same time. I remember how much I “hated” plyo in the begining because it was so hard but now that I’m getting into better shape, I’m actually enjoying plyo days a lot. And the best part is that it’s such a great workout, I know I’m burning a ton of calories!
